Fluid Wire Robotics redefines the way robots are made.

The first all-electric force-controllable robotic arm with electric motors and sensors located in a sealed remote actuation unit: the motors power is then transferred to the robot joints by means of “Fluid Wires”, our patented high-efficiency transmission system.


Sealing the actuation unit makes our system water- and explosion- proof without requiring structural complexity. Our robotic arm has no limits when it comes to interacting  with reactive means and explosive atmospheres as it is fully passive and no electricity is on board. As no sealing is required on moving parts, our robot is intrinsically compatible with harsh environments without any performance loss. The remote placement of motors also offers cooling possibilities that are not achievable when motors are located on the arm.
